During my time studying Theatre, Performance and Events Design at Birmingham City University I have had the oppotunity to develop my creative skills. The skills and techniques I have developed are so versatile that I have been able to apply them to many different elements of design. From this experience I have discovered my passion of designing and working on live events.

Rape Crisis Fundraiser

Inspired by the subject of Feminism I designed two fundraising events for Southend on Sea Rape Crisis. The day fundraiser 'Breaking the Silence' I put on for families and survivors to attend and resulted in us raising £300 for the chairty.

Collabrative Practice - Music Video

For this project we had to collaborate with graphic design students to design, make and shoot a music video. All we were given to work from was the music itself, so it was up to us to create a concept that we felt would be good for the song. This was by far my favourite project whilst at university. I took on the role of director for the shoot of this video.

The Garden Gala

I also designed the 'Garden Gala, this is a black tie event boasting an evening of entertainment as well as a three course meal. I took inspiration from the Rape Crisis logo exploring the themes of nature and how it symbolises rebirth, growth and survival.
