The project concerns itself with light, exclusively the relationship between sight and sunlight. The poignancy of the project lies among the environmental and social issues raised by research into the effects related to an increase of UV radiation levels in the atmosphere over recent years, due to the deterioration of the ozone layer. The portraits role perform a state of reception. The subjects have been exposed to light tactfully, to capture an instant within the dark-to-light-adaptation process. Rod and cone cells react to changes in surrounding light levels, revealing a generation embarking an intense relationship with light, in a forthcoming formidable future.
